In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. Genesis 1:1-2 God is a triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Three in one. One God, three different aspects is His character that have different purposes. We also see that He is... 1. Self- existent 2. Self-sufficient 3. Infinite 4. Eternal In order to have an adequate view of God, we need to know more about His character. We are created multifaceted. Body, mind, and spirit. So when it come to discipleship (teaching others to follow Christ) we need to make sure we incorporate all aspects that God has created. “Sometimes you don’t need prayer.
